The Review Desk

The Review Desk is the editorial byline of this independent journal. We read across work, care and popular culture, with a preference for concrete questions and plain language. An essay should leave you with a clearer distinction, a source worth following and room to disagree.

A new edition with a historical trail

This domain previously hosted the Neoliberal Feminism Archive. We retain useful topic addresses and bibliographic routes, credit the work associated with that archive, and distinguish its historical identity from the current publication. We are not affiliated with Catherine Rottenberg, Goldsmiths or the former RNF project.

Editorial standards

Reading guides are original explanatory essays. A writer’s argument is attributed as an argument; it is not converted into a statistic or a universal finding. Hypothetical examples are labelled. We do not invent interviews, quotations, personal experience or endorsements. References link to authors, institutions and publishers so readers can check the context.

Corrections and access

Incomplete historical citations remain marked as incomplete. Full-text access and reuse rights belong to the relevant authors and publishers. Send a correction with the page URL and a supporting source through our contact page.
